Meet The 2004 ORMF Bike Winner

When Bill first laid eyes on the Oyster Ridge Music Festival's Fat Tire Cruiser he knew he had to have it. For Bill it wasn't a simple desire, he had been looking for a bike with pedal brakes for several years. Most of us probably have not thought very much about the fact that most new bikes have hand brakes up on the handlebars that you squeeze with your hands to apply the brakes. For Bill foot brakes are a big deal because Bill has no hands. Not that Bill has let that slow him down. After losing his hands and arms to the elbow in an industrial accident that pit man against electricity, he taught himself to play the electric organ and now

Bill now resides in Plummer, ID where he has to travel up and down steep hills. For years Bill has wanted to ride a bicycle back and forth to town. After winning the New Belgium Brewing Fat Tire Cruiser, now he can.

CONGRATULATIONS BILL !!!!
