The Clumsy Lovers are the hottest band coming out of Canada today. Their "Raging bluegrass Celtic rock", style has inspired other neighbors to the north such as The Duhks. Often imitated but never surpassed, Clumsy has released their seventh album "Smart Kid". Often referred to as the hardest working band in show business, Clumsy has spent much of the last ten years on the road and have over 1500 live shows to their credit. Clumsy Lovers have been a festival favorite since the beginning, having graced our stage on three previous occasions. We feel like the whole OysterGrass experience is somehow embodied in these talented and deep spirits. Don't miss their triumphant return on Friday July 28th. Clumsy Lovers:( L to R) Andrea Lewis- Fiddle, Vocals; Chris Jonat- Bass, Vocals; Gord Robert- Drums; Jason Homey- Banjo, Mandolin; Trevor Rogers-Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica, Percussion. |

Anne and Pete Sibley were high school sweethearts. They first met through a common love of singing in their high school choir in New England. During their early years together, they both studied piano and classical music and shared a love for the performing arts. They married in 1999 and left the East Coast for Jackson, Wyoming. A friend brought Anne and Pete to the Jackson Hole Hootenanny where fellow performers, cowboys, and skiers introduced them to western, bluegrass, folk, country and traditional music. They began to travel the Rocky Mountains to music festivals and became immersed in acoustic music. They learned from the recordings of other duos like Tim & Mollie O'Brien, Gillian Welch & David Rawlins, Jody Stecher & Kate Brislin. Anne and Pete soon won the hearts of their community with their crowd-pleasing style and repertoire rooted in traditional music. Anne's powerful and pure vocals and Pete's solid guitar playing and harmonies are combined with an easy-going stage presence to make this duo a real crowd pleaser.
