Rick Moody from Colorado is our winner of this years New Belgium Fat Tire Bike raffle. Rick attended our festival for the first time this year after finding out about it with an internet search. Rick and family arrived on Friday and with every motel room in town booked for the weekend decided to camp and took advantage of the Rec. Center's shower facilities. Rick bought the lucky ticket on Friday and left on Sunday to get back to work. He said he never gave it another thought until he got a call from Festival Committee Chair Mike Clark. "I thought maybe I won a t-shirt for filling out the marketing survey", said Rick, " It never even crossed my mind that I had won the bike. I just bought a ticket to help support the festival." Rick says he really enjoyed the layed back and casual atmosphere of the ORMF. "I went to Telluride a few times in the 1970s until the thing got so big it wasn't fun anymore. The Oyster Ridge Festival reminds me of Telluride in the early days."

Rick's favorite sets at the fest include Mary and Mars and Robin Kessinger, but the one he enjoyed most was the South Austin Jug Band.
