Due to the fact that more and more campers are attending the
festival, the city of Kemmerer has decided to open up overflow
areas to those who are unable to get space in one of the commercial
campgrounds or the several Forest Service or BLM Campgrounds in
the area,( see numbers at bottom of page). For these free spots
there are no reservations available. Registration must be in person
during the festival and are given out on a first come, first served
All Campers wishing to utilize overflow camping, (see pictures
below), must register
at the ORMF Booth in front of the Cabin in Triangle Park. You
will be issued a map and a number to place in your RV or attach
to your tent. This number will tell local police officials
that you have registered for that space and will prevent you being
awakened at some un-Godly hour. Campers will also be given a list
of simple rules that will need to be followed. These free camping
areas are another reason that ORMF is the most popular festival
in Wyoming. Please remember to be a good guest.
The Kemmerer Swimming Pool will be open for showers on Friday
and Saturday from1pm until 5pm for a use fee of $3 dollars per
person. The Pool is located at Archie Neil Park on Post Place
in Kemmerer. From the Triangle Park you can go up Topaz right
between Sawayas and the Bank of the West, 4 blocks and turn left
on Post Place right at Archie Neil Park. You can reach them by
phone at 828-2365.
A Pancake Breakfast will be available at the fest on Sat. and
Sun. mornings provided for a small fee by the local Rotary Club.
Pickers ask about a picker pass. We'll try to group all those
who pick and play in the same general area.
