Stacey Board

Stacey Board is a blonde firebrand that combines keen song-crafting and fiery pipes to create an unbeatable stage presence. Some of the judges at the recent SXSW Showdown 2001 commented:

THE BAND:

Peter Jensen; Peter has been playing the bass for nine years. He received a scholarship to be in the University of Utah Jazz department and Orchestra. He is currently endorsed by Warrior Instruments. In addition to playing with the Stacey Board band, he performs with various other groups.

Chris Burton; Chris has been playing drums for 16 years and has played with various groups around the world. He has studied many different styles including jazz, latin, rock and funk. Chris is currently pursuing a bathelor of music degree and teaches private drum lessons.

Tucker Roundtree; Playing guitar for over 11 years, Tucker has played with some of Salt Lakes finest. This includes folkies like Anke Summerhill, Gene Sartain and of course Stacey Board. Tucker plays for the pure enjoyment of music and a sincere desire to connect with the listener.

Stacey Board; With two CDs under her belt, Stacey Board has been critically acclaimed by reviewers and adored by fans coast-to coast. In the last two years she has performed from Seattle to Toronto. This year she was selected as a finalist in the Sierra Songwriter's Festival and toured nationally with her latest CD, Not Love Art. Her third CD tentatively titled Drive, is in the works and will be distributed by Indiegrrl Records.
